Building Stronger Alliances to Protect Youth

As part of the ongoing cooperation between religious and security institutions to combat addiction and raise awareness about the dangers of drug use, a delegation from the Best Life Center for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery paid an official visit to the headquarters of the General Administration for Drug Control at the Ministry of Interior.

The delegation included religious leaders, doctors, and volunteers, who emphasized the importance of strengthening joint efforts and intensifying awareness campaigns aimed at protecting young people from the dangers of addiction. They also praised the vital role played by the Ministry of Interior in combating drug trafficking and protecting society.

The visit featured a specialized lecture on the administration’s ongoing efforts to combat narcotic substances and foster a counter-culture to drug use. It also included a tour of the on-site museum, which showcases the historical milestones and achievements of anti-drug efforts in Egypt.

Productive discussions were also held with senior leadership at the administration on possible avenues of cooperation, particularly in awareness campaigns and in the psychological and therapeutic rehabilitation of recovering addicts.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Best Life Center delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude to the dedicated officers of the Egyptian police for their exceptional work in protecting the nation’s youth. The Center reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration in building a future free from addiction.
