BLESS participation in Joint Emergency Drill in Sohag Governorate

As part of its commitment to strengthening emergency response efforts, the Bishopric of Public, Ecumenical, and Social Services successfully took part in the joint practical training “Saqr 128,” held in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent in Sohag Governorate. The training aimed to enhance the capacity of participating entities in managing disasters and crises.

The BLESS played a vital role inside the emergency shelter camp, where BLESS provided essential humanitarian services to individuals affected by disasters, reflecting its strong experience and excellence in relief and community work.

Major General Tarek El Fiqi, Governor of Sohag, praised the BLESS distinguished first-time participation in this important event, expressing his appreciation for the effective and impactful role BLESS played. He also emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among all institutions to address crises and safeguard citizens' wellbeing.

This marks the BLESS first participation in official emergency drills and highlights its dedication to community service and joint action to enhance resilience in the face of challenges.
