Marina is a young girl with hearing impairment who struggled to communicate with others which made her unable to attend school. During this challenging time, the Rise Up and Walk center assisted Marina when she was 11, starting with assessments for her condition. Later on, Marina was provided with speech sessions and fit her with a hearing aid.

Over time, she became capable of expressing her needs, communicating effectively and returned to school regularly. Now, she has progressed to the secondary level at school, and her hearing aid has been upgraded in line with her developmental needs.
