Best Life Center Achievements in 2023: A Year of Prevention, Treatment, and Impact

The Best Life Center for Mental Health and Addiction Control made significant strides in mental health awareness, addiction prevention, and rehabilitation across Egypt every year. Through its comprehensive preventive and therapeutic programs, the Center reached over 260,000 beneficiaries in 2023.

🌿 Preventive Programs
• Awareness, Prevention, and Training Department aims at spreading awareness to discover mental illnesses and addictions. It also trains cadres to work and serve in this field.
Volunteer Department formed groups of young volunteers in churches and trained them to include more cadres capable of dealing with addiction cases in (16 parishes)
• Social Media & Documentation: The department publishes electronic awareness tools (photos, videos, written information) on various ways of communication and follows up on Emails. The department also creates all Photoshop designs for book covers, brochures, and posters issued by the Center, in addition to documenting all the Center’s activities on videos.
Research Unit released 27 studies on critical issues such as heated tobacco, AI and addiction, and psychosocial development.

💠 Therapeutic Services
• Outpatient Department provided tailored mental health and addiction services:
     o Treated 469 new addiction cases, 307 psychiatric cases, and served 4,416 ongoing patients
     o 97 patients admitted to the rehabilitation home
     o Held 488 treatment group sessions and conducted regular drug tests


• Family Guidance Department supported 975 individuals through 2,127 counseling sessions, resolving family disputes and preventing divorces
• Children's Behavior Modification Unit organized:
     o 100 group sessions and 12 behavioral therapy sessions for children of addicts


• Rehabilitation Home in Wadi El Natron helped 97 recovering patients reintegrate into society through holistic programs
• Hotline Services (0222626168 - 01275575657) remained active for emergency support for addiction and mental health issues.
