TOTs for religious leaders 2024.
The Coptic Orthodox Church, represented by BLESS, contributes to supporting the state in its efforts concerning national issues, particularly the population problem and combating Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Given the significant influence that religious leaders hold over members of Egyptian society, it is important to explore their vital role in raising awareness within the community.
The program aims to enhance community practices concerning population issues and to combat female genital mutilation (FGM). It operates across nine governorates: Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Sharqia, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.
